Digging a dump
I am gradually digging a dump for some time now. Wooh, i’m a hard working man these days :p. Don’t get me wrong, i’m not digging it alone, but helping out considerably. We are at about a meter and a half depth now, but, oops! Today i dug into ground water. Damnit. We need at least further 20 or 30 centimeters. Oh well. We’ll see what can be done. When the concrete base is done, it’s no matter there’s water level above, the concrete is waterproof and all. So just we need to get out the water to a) be able to dig and b) let the concrete harden.
Yup, if you didn’t know, we (me and rest of my family) are working on the house we moved into few months ago. A lot of stuff left to be done. The old paint and plaster needs to be removed, new one done and painted, floors have to be done anew, heating has to be redone (at least partially), dump needs to be finished, etc. But we have electricity (for quite some time now) and now hot water and bathtub, yay =). Bathroom is being worked on. Oh well, the house will rock before next winter, i’m confident :). Really really hard =).
On the other news, it’s one hour left till new year here. So happy new year to all. Yeah, my blog has CEST as a time zone. But whatever.
