Masters of Rock
So i were at Masters of Rock last weekend. Rhapsody was cool, “Edguy”:http://www.edguy.nu/ was good, Rage was a surprize (never heard of them… but yeah, i liked them). Nightwish sucked. D’oh. High Hopes by Nightwish sucked even more. Well, shrug. On the other hand, Silent Stream of Godless Elegy rocked, even if i never heard of them before (and almost missed them). Also, the most advertised band (manowar) were like the worst suckers there. I mean, like, aww. They should be ashamed. Last time i checked, quality of music wasn’t measured in dB. Someone go tell them already.
Other than that, it was fun there. The organisation was totally fucked up, but quite a few bands did well nevertheless. But then, they’ll have to bring someone like Sonata Arctica, “Opeth”:http://www.opeth.com or Katatonia to get me there next year.
